Sinal Fraco Wi-Fi

Pessoal, estou com um problema de conexão Wi-Fi. Sempre que conecto na internet aqui de casa, o sinal fica na metade e não abre página nenhuma, para carregar alguma coisa eu tenho que ficar colado no roteador (tipo uns 30 cm ou menos). Tentei uma recuperação para um ponto de restauração anterior com o Systemback, tentei limpar a placa wireless, até mesmo reinstalar o Linux e nada,

O mais curioso é que no Windows está funcionando perfeitamente, mesmo longe do roteador, mas eu prefiro usar o Linux e isso está me atrapalhando bastante.

OBS: já teste outras distros por live USB e aconteceu a mesma coisa, pelo jeito o problema está sendo com Linux em geral.

Entre no terminal e digite.

lspci  | grep BCM  

Veja se há BCM43142.
Se existe, digite

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential dkms broadcom-sta-modules 

logo após entre no diretório onde baixou o pacote com o

cd 

descompacta ele usando

$ sudo dpkg -i wireless-bcm43142-dkms_6.20.55.19-1_amd64.deb 

logo após de descompactar digite

$ sudo modprobe wl

Cara, no grep ele não pegou nada, mas ainda assim continuei com o processo, mas não resolveu não :/

Drivers depende muito do kernel.. Sabe se o kernel é mais antigo ou mais atualizado?

Obs:
Meu micro não tem Wifi e o modem aqui de casa é Adsl (linha telefônica), mas o notebook (antigo de 2011) tem placa Wifi de fábrica e detecta e se conecta (se autorizado) as redes Wifi da redondeza e navega normalmente. Uso Mint 17.3 Xfce.

Primeiro antes de usar qualquer comando identifica o seu wifi.

Não instala nada no sistema e nem deveria ter continuado o processo.

Foi um erro do colega ai sugeri a instalação dos pacotes wireless-bcm43142-dkms_6.20.55.19-1_amd64.deb e broadcom-sta-modules sem antes identificar o modelo do seu wifi.

Fica a dica nunca instala nada que as pessoas falam nos sites sem antes verifica.

Você deve um problema parecido com o dele há um tempo atrás.

Acho que foi resolvido com a atualização do kernel.

Tem o link ai poderia ajuda ele.

Tô usando o 4.10, mas já testei todos desde o 4.4 pra ver se resolvia e não tive sucesso.

1- Outros equipamento que usa esse wifi tem o mesmo problema de sinal fraco?

2- Existe interferência de outros equipamento eletrônicos.

3- Como esta channel do seu wifi e da região?
