1. Meu Ubuntu ta sem drive de microfone!

Po migrei do Windows pro Linux, e o Linux(Ubuntu) não ta identificndo o drive de microfone.
Já istalei o PulseAudio e nada.
Por favor me ajudem.
Agradeço desde já.
Obs:Meu notebook é um Lenovo G470.

seu som foi configurado. basta apenas mexer nos canais de som e ir falando ao microfone. o canal do microfone é o mic. aumentando a barra com a seta direcional "para cima", vai achar o volume correto.


Esse Mic não consta no terminal, o que aparece no terminal são:
Master, Pcm, S/Pdif, Beep,
Só ta aparecendo esses.

Comanda F6 nessa janela que o amigo indicou, pra ver se tem outra fonte de áudio sendo utilizada.

Fica sem som assim mesmo, o que? quando comanda F6 ou quando mexe no que aparece quando comanda F6?
POrque não é pra dar som. É pra abrir a janelinha pra escolher qual vasi ser o principal sistema de som, pra gente ver se tem mais que um instalado no sistema. Pra daí, se tiver mais que um, setar nele e ver se aparece o volume do "mic".
Fica sem som o que, quando?

Quando aperto f6, ele me da mais opção, mesmo trocando de opção de placa, nada muda , o microfone fica mudo, ele sempre ta mudo. Já perguntei isso varias vezes e ninguem tem essa resposta.Será que é um Bug manow?
O microfone do pc nunca tem som,, nem em Skype, nem nada.Esse é o problema.

Eu não sou usuário Ubuntu, nem nunca fui, e uso o ambiente gráfico KDE. Não sei o que pode ser igual ou não, mas NUM GERAL eu aconselharia a desinstalar o pulseaudio; e colocando "microfone ubuntu" no pai-goolge, parece que ele costuma mesmo mais atrapalhar que ajudar (assim como acontece no ambinete gráfico KDE). Parece que tem um vídeo no youtube (pela mesma pesquisa "microfone ubuntu") mostrando os lugares possíveis de configuração; não custa dar uma olhada lá, se bem que se não tá aparecedno o volume "mic" em nenhuma das opções setadas por F6 no alsamixer, parece que o hardware não foi reconhecido (o que é muitíssimo estranho, se o som tá saindo por outros lugares.)

Se for mesmo problema de reconhecimento de hardware, daí tem que ver qual é a placa de som usada por esse note e qual o driver usado pra ela em linux, e daí dar o comando "lspci" pra ver se o driver tá rodando.

Não custa também dar uma olhada em /etc/group pra ver se o usuário tá colocado no grupo "sound" (mas eu acho que é difícil ter alguma relação com isso - embora, como eu já disse, eu não seja usuário Ubuntu)

Eu tenho um problema parecido. Meu Note é um Lenovo G475. Quando eu instalei o Ubuntu 12.04 o microfone funcionava normalmente. Mas por motivos além da compreensão(burrice minha), acabei tendo que desinstalar ele. Instalei então o Mint 13 com MATE e tá perfeito. Porém o microfone não funciona. A dúvida é: se o Mint usa o Ubuntu como base porque o microfone não funciona? Cetas coisas dão desanimo mas o jeito é pesquisar mais e mais e caso eu encontre uma solução eu postarei aqui.

Eu tenho um problema inverso. Tenho justamente o mesmo notebook Lenovo G475 com o Ubuntu 12.04 devidamente instalado e atualizado, no entanto o microfone sequer aparece como opção, mesmo o hardware estando configurado como Duplex estéreo analógico. Segue as imagens do controle de volume nativo:
