Ubuntu tem que ser reiniciado quando perde a conexao

Ola, Tenho um problema ha muito tempo com o wi-fi
qdo o computador esta "tabalhando pesado", as vezes ele corta a conexao com o wi-fi e eu tenho que reiniciá-lo pq ele nao reconecta. As vezes isso acontece tb sem ele estar fazendo nenhuma tarefa. Simplesmente cai a conexao e ele nao reconecta nem manualmente. Tinha o ubuntu 16.04 e atualizei pro 18.04 pra ver se melhorava isso e nd. Se alguem puder ajudar sera muito bom.
