wireless nao funciona no ubuntu 9.10

Bom dia a todos
sou novato no mundo linux e estava usando a versao 9.04 do ubuntu
(pegava rede com fio e sem fio normal)
mas foi so eu atualizar o ubuntu pra versao 9.10 q nao funciona nenhuma das redes
parece q nao tenho nenhuma interface de rede instalada,

alguem teve o msm problema ou sabe como resolver?

minha placa sem fio eh uma Intel wifi link 5100 agn
placa ethernet: marvel yyukon 88e8040t

ate baixei um driver da wireless p linux mas nao sei instalar

poderiam me ajudar?

Você precisa descobrir o módulo que está placa utiliza, poste o resultado dos comandos lspci e lsusb...

Se você observar aqui mesmo no VOL, a versão 9.10 do Ubuntu tem apresentado problemas frequentes.

A melhor solução é continuar a usar o 9.04 e esperar a próxima versão que tem tudo para já trazer todos estes problemas solucionados.
