Seguinte estou usando o ubuntu 18.04 lts, segui os tutoriais para instalar o drive da nvidia tanto que quando dou o comando lspci ele lista o drive da nvidia e minha placa normal, porém nas confs do ubuntu ainda diz que o drive é hd intel grafics e consequentemente não consigo usar o dxvk no lutris, como posso resolver esse problema?

Tente habilitar o driver da Nvidia pela opção "drivers adicionais".

Já fiz isso, foi o primeiro procedimento que fiz na verdade

é isso mesmo é hibrida, 940M, mas antes reconhecia a nvidia e agora no menu lá n reconhece mais, é um laptop mesmo

É bem complicado usar NVIDIA.
Essses laptops com placa de vídeo da Intel e da NVIDIA se chamam "Optimus", e os laptops optimus são um terror para funcionar.

Primeiramente, vc deve desinstalar os pacotes/drivers adicionais que você instalou e que não resolveram o seu problema. Se você instalou algum pacote errado, pode dar incompatibilidade.

Mas você falou que estava funcionando e que parou de funcionar. Aqui no meu laptop, de vez em quando, depois de uma atualização, os drivers do nvidia/bumblebee param de funcionar. Cheguei a conclusão de que a única maneira que eu consigo fazer eles voltarem a funcionar, é simplesmente desinstalar todos os pacotes relacionados da Nvidia e depois reinstalá-los... Parece que isso faz com que os pacotes sejam montados da maneira correta... . Reinstalar por cima _não_ resolve no meu caso! Não é necessário reiniciar antes de reinstalar os drivers e configurar eles.. Mas para pegar efeito, depois, precisa fazer uma reinicialização sim, para ver se funcionou.

Como é um laptop, você não vai querer, provavelmente, deixar o cartão da Nvidia ligado direto para economizar bateria...

Você tem que instalar os drivers oficiais da Nvidia ( nvidia, nvidia-settings, nvidia-utils ) e depois instalar o "Bumblebee", o "Mesa" e, opcionalmente, o "Primus", que é uma camada a mais em cima do bumblebee optirun, que roda com performance melhor que o optirun puro...

Para rodar o game ou outro aplicativo na Nvidia, usar:
$ optirun lutris 

Para ver se o cartão da nvidia está sendo usado:
$ optirun glxgears 

ou
$ primusrun glxgears 


Para ver se o bumblebee está ativo ( ON ou OFF ) :
$ cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch 

Para abrir as configurações do NVIDIA, e tentar rodar o programa enquanto essa janela está aberta:
$ optirun -b none nvidia-settings -c :8 

ou
$ sudo optirun nvidia-settings -c :8 


Tem outras formas de usar o cartão da nvidia, depende de como vc precisa usá-lo!

Tem ainda outro "bridge" que você pode instalar ao invés do primus, que é mais moderno e oferece suporte à tecnologia vulkan da Nvidia, que é o "primus-vk", e você roda os apps com

$ pvkrun [app]
