O slackware que tenho tem o wpa_gui mas nao sei colocar internet e tambem nao reconhece meu pendrive o q faco

O Slackware 14.2 tem o Wicd 1.7.4 dentro da pasta "Extra".

se estiver usando kde, o ícone ao lado do relógio não resolve? Ou vc quer fazer em modo em modo texto?

Basta instalar o mesmo, mas caso não tenha no repositório dependendo do gerenciador de pacotes que você usa, você pode instalar acessando o https://slackbuilds.org/repository/ mas terá que compilar o mesmo, ou baixando o binário em algum site como o alien bob ou https://pkgs.org/ mas aviso que neste caso poderá haver dependências e você deverá saber como resolve-las manualmente. Baixe o wicd ou networkmanager que são apps gráficos para configurar a rede, na minha opinião
o networmanager é mais fácil que o wicd.

ps:
Dependendo do ambiente gráfico que você estiver usando pode ser não apareça o applet do wicd no painel, então execute no terminal o comando wicd-gtk e configure sua rede seja ela de cabo ou wifi.

Também prefiro o wicd. Como os colegas falaram, tem na .iso ou no pendrive/cd de instalação. Você pode navegar no pendrive de instalação e instalar da forma padrão do slackware. Caso tenha a imagem iso salva no computador, pode montar a imagem iso em alguma pasta e navegar até onde está o arquivo wicd***.txz e instalar.

Aos desavisados... WICD foi removido do repositório oficial do Slackware Current, portanto a última release estável que o disponibiliza será o 14.2.

Segue o link para baixar:

http://mirrors.slackware.com/slackware/slackware64-14.2/extra/wicd/wicd-1.7.4-x86_64-2.txz

O Network-Manager já vem instalado por padrão, caso queira reconfigurar sua conexão, proceda assim:

# su
# pkgtool
1. Escolha SETUP
2. Escolha netconfig (marque com a barra de espaço)
3. Clique em ACEITAR.

Com isso você poderá optar por DHCP ou outro gerenciador de conexões.
