Ubuntu 14.04 sem wifi

Olá a todos,
Estou com um problema para ativar a placa Atheros Communications AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter, ela não aparece no comando lspci:

tento ativa-la com FN+F2 e nada, ja tentei varias dicas de foruns, baixei alguns drivers e nada surtiu efeito, na realidade em uma das tentativas eu ferrei com alguma coisa e tive q formatar novamente kkkk. Se alguém puder me dar uma mão

tenta atualizar seu ubuntum de repente ele baixa os firware p/ vc

1-Instale um kernel mais recente

2-Reinicie notebook c/ kernel mais novo e Instale o firmware athreos
sudo apt-get install firmware-linux firmware-linux-nonfree
sudo apt-get install firmware-atheros

3-Reinicie notebook

realizei os dois procedimentos(cheguei até a instalar a a 15.04, com o Kernel 3.19). Ela continua não sendo listada, no comando lspci, o led referente a ela tb continua apagado, logo ela continua desligada

Galera consegui resolver o problema. Depois de muito procurar descobri q muita gente com o mesmo modelo de notebook(Inspiron 5437), possuia o mesmo problema. Atualizei o driver da chipset, e a placa apareceu. Depois so foi fazer a instalação normalmente do driver da placa.
