wlan0: ERROR while getting interface flags: Dispositivo inexistente

O que me deixa mais intrigado é que quando executo lsmod
aparece rt2870sta na linsta de modulos

é assim mesmo determinadas placas são um pé no s#*o para configurar

veja com este:

#rfkill list all

se der comando inexistente baixe pelo gerenciador de arquivos e faça modprobe rfkill
repita o comando acima
se aparecer algo:

#rfkill unblockX onde X é o número que aparece após o list

não esqueça de subir todos os módulos antes

Baixei o rfkill
Executei o comando modprob rfkill
Após o comando rfkill list all, apareceu o erro abaixo:

Can't open RFKILL control device: No such file or directory

Aff essa tá difícil de subir ve se nos repositórios da sua distro tem o pacote firmware-ralink e se tiver baixa

já testou essa placa em outro pc?

a essa altura mesmo que você não conseguisse conexão ela já teria que estar no ifconfig -a

funciona em "janelas"?

Testei na máquina que tenho em casa, que por sinal também tenho linux insigne instalado.
Lá pegou de prima numa boa e o kernel dela é 2.6.28

Já essa outra máquina que insiste é não pegar tem o kernel 2.6.32.5

Tentei compilar outros kernel mais não tive sucesso.
