Instalar tcpdump em RHEL5

Caros amigos, algém conseguiu instalar o tcpdump no RHEL5?

Com o comando sudo yum install tcpdump não rolou!

Tu tem subscrição?
Baixa o rpm e instala.

Ex:

# rpm -ivh tcpdump-3.9.4-15.el5.x86_64.rpm

Não foi possível caro amigo, porque faltam muitas bibliotecas!

Ps.: Não consigo instalar nada via yum, e não é problema de proxy, porque não passa por ele.

Alguma ideia mais ?

Só um detalhe... Para você ter acesso aos repositórios do Red Hat Enterprise, tem que ter subscrição. Você tem?

Se a resposta é sim... Tente fazer um yum update primeiro.

Pode ser problema no seu repositório também. Dá uma analisada nos logs!

Alternativa caso não tenha subscrição.

Só em ultimo caso! hehehe... Não recomendo em ambiente de produção! Monte um ambiente de teste.

Caro amigo, não deu certo o yum update, eu já havia tentado; e sim, tenho subscription.
Dá erro de conexão com o RHN no log.
