1. Backtrack 5 + IBM Thinkpad T42 [RESOLVIDO]

Olá,

Tenho um note da IBM o thinkpad T42 e uso o BackTrack 5.

Já tenho absolutamente tudo configurado e funcionando muito bem. A única coisa que não acertei ainda é o layout de teclado. Não consigo de jeito nenhum fazer a cedilha. fica com C com acento agudo.

Antes que aparecam aquelas dicas de mouse + clique, vou explicar melhor.

Já fui em preferêcias e abri keyboards e também já procurei o layout dos ibm's e não tem o T42.

Já tentei mudar a linguagem do teclado. Deveria simplesmente funcionar com inglês internacional, mas não funciona.

Já vi esse note com outros sistemas funcionando o cedilha.

Alguém sabe me dizer como posso criar uma especie de mapeamento do teclado?

Já tentei o Xmodmap; Xorg e as opcões avancadas do teclado na configuracão do gnome.

Já tentei também, mas sem nenhuma explicacão conclusiva, o gconf-editor

Apesar de não ter resolvido o meu problema, me ajudou a entender para buscar outra solução (com çççç.

Eu tive que instalar o xkeycaps para geral o layout do mey teclado.

Depois copiei o arquivo que ele gereou para dentro do /home/user/.Xmodcap

Ficou assim:
