Olá.. estou com um problema bem incomodo.. Utilizo o CentOS 5.5 em cima do VMware Server ..
De uns tempos para cá, após reinstalar o samba (samba3x, samba 3.0.33, etc..) várias vezes para simular um PDC com autenticação de outra máquina virtual Windowns 7, o Centos 5.5 demora muito para iniciar e quando inicia qualquer tarefa (abrir shell, abrir Firefox) demora muito... Para iniciar também a máquina demora muito muito mesmo.. .. principalmente quando chega na parte de inicialização do sendmail.
O mais interessante é que isso só ocorre quando inicio a máquina com 2 placas de rede.. (uma em bridged(eth0) e uma HostOnly(eth1)) quando inicio apenas com a Bridged o problema não ocorre (a VM fica normal..), se inicio só com a HostOnly a lentidão volta a acontecer..
Já procurei muito mas nenhum tópico me ajudou.. já tentei reinstalar o vmware tools com as duas placas e nada.. continua lento...
Outra coisa interessante, é que tenho uma VM com CentOS 5.3 com as mesmas configurações de Ip´s e placas de rede e funciona normalmente...
Não gostaria de reinstalar o OS para isso pois está claro que é alguma configuração errada, ou algum módulo faltante..
Gostaria de montar a seguinte situação com minhas VM´s: 1 VM CentOS 5.5 com Samba como PDC com duas placas de rede, uma Bridged para navegação e uma hostonly para a "rede virtual" + 1 VM com Windows 7 (1 placa HostOnly) autenticando no dominio samba + 1 VM com windows XP (1 placa HostOnly) autenticando também no samba.
Informações da VM principal:
