consegui chegar ao dash, mas pra instalar o network manager fica complicado, falha essas lib, esses download.

dei apt-get update
dei sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
e eles mesmo retornavam este problema

daquele tópico eu nem sei onde ir pra configurar aquilo, antes eu ia ali no icone da internet e tinha este tipo de opção, mas e agora que não tenho ícone nenhum, onde configuro dhcp e essas coisas?

Mas eu acho mais fácil e rápido pelo próprio DVD de instalação do Ubuntu:

Já aconteceu comigo a algum tempo e reinstalei pelo DVD do próprio sistema.

Após entrar com o chroot não precisa utilizar o sudo

consegue pingar??

Ai God!
Reiniciei o computador agora fui tentar montar e: mount: você precisa especificar o tipo do sistema de arquivos

Sobre o tutorial de instalar pelo cd vou tentar com muito carinho, mas meu inglês é horroroso, vou deduzir mesmo pelos códigos. E já to travada na primeira indicação sudo mount --bind /dev /<chrootlocation>/dev
chroot/dev/sda4/dev eu tenho q colocar?

pra isso por exemplo se você utilizava ext4 você faz:

sudo mount -t ext4 /dev/sda3 /mnt

E perambulando pela net encontrei isso;

mount /dev/sda3 /mnt
mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev
mount --bind /proc /mnt/proc
mount --bind /sys /mnt/sys
chroot /mnt
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install network-manager

utilizando o pendrive
veja se funciona aí

Tem pelo VOL também. Mas os caminhos ensinados podem ser traduzidos por tradutor do Google.

Mas tente isso: em Configurações do sistema > Programas e atualizações.
Marque a cx do cdroom. Insira o DVD do Ubuntu. Depois que estiver montado:

$ sudo apt-get install network-manager

Tomara que consiga.

Aiai, pq dá esse erro hein? Não baixei nada além das atualizações recomendadas pelo próprio atualizador.

1. Instalar o network manager pelo pen drive parece impossível uma vez que não consigo atualizar.

2. Estou conectada a internet através do pendrive, assim é que estou me comunicando com vocês, mas quando acessei o dash e testei o ping deu aquela resposta que me pareceu negativa, mas não tenho certeza.

ping: unknown host www.google.com

 

3. Como instalar pelo próprio pen drive/dvd ? Tem como isso? Eu ao invés de baixar reparar o pacote a partir da mesma versão linux que estou usando em pendrive?
