não consigo atualizar o Ubuntu 10.10 [RESOLVIDO]

Ao atualizar o ubuntu 10.10 me veem o seguinte erro no gerenciador de atualizações: "não foi possível iniciar a atualização do pacote.

um problema impossível de se resolver ocorreu enquanto inicializava as atualizações do pacote.

por favor relate esse erro do pacote 'update-manager' e inclua a seguinte mensagem de erro:

'E:Tipo 'sudo' não é conhecido na linha 59 na lista de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list'

Ok, a linha deve estar mal formada. qual o conteúdo da sua linha 59 do arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list?
(Dê um "sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list" e veja)

coloquei o comando citado no terminal que vc me mandou esse>>>

Remova esse sudo -v e depois de um apt-get update.
Caso a mensgem ainda persista, remova as outras linhas que possuem sudo no inicio e veja se da certo.

Como disse o dastyler, remova a linha "sudo -v", mas remova também "sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys E80D6BF5" e "sudo apt-get update".
Estas duas linhas você executa num terminal.
Abra o gnome-terminal e cole nele estas informações.

olá died, eu formatei a máquina, e já está tudo normal. Se ocorrer algum problema eu volto aqui. agradeço a todos vocês pela atenção.

Amigão, evite formatar seu pc por causa de erros como esse sabe porquê??
Porque se você conseguir resolver o problema, você vai ficar mais crack no Linux.
Pra ficar crack, você tem que resolver esse tipo de coisa, eu aprendi assim.
A comunidade está aqui pra te ajudar.

É apenas um conselho, espero que você se de bem.
