Problemas com a plataforma atualizada Ubuntu - 15.04

Caríssimos.
Atualizei recentemente meu Dell inspirion 14.2630 para a versão 15.04 do Ubuntu. Tudo corria bem, mas percebi que meu notebook não estava reconhecendo as redes wireless, na verdade, ele só as reconhece quando fico bem próximo dos roteadores e mesmo assim a conexão oscila terrivelmente.
Isso é um problema novo visto que meu notebook sempre reconheceu redes muito melhor que o habitual.
Se puderem me ajudar ficarei muito grato.

Bom dia,

Oliver, o problema são alguns drivers de placas de rede, vídeo, que quando compatíveis, são meio que problemáticas no linux.

Vamos ver qual é o modelo do seu equipamento. No terminal, rode o comando:

lspci -k ##=> Post os resultados
iwconfig ##=> Post os resultados

Eu testaria o dvd ou pendrive do ubuntu-14.04-lts, que terá suporte até abril/2019
Se funcionasse eu faria bkp de meus arquivos e instalaria a versão 14.04-lts, pq o 15.04 terá suporte somente até janeiro/2016
