Pessoal acabei de dar adeus ao windows 7 (diga-se de passagem o meu era original ) bom deixei uma cópia no meu desktop mais antigo e instalei o fedora 15 no meu note. Ficou show de bola só que não estou conseguindo usar a rede sem fio.

Alguém tem alguma sugestão?

Foi bem simples!
Apenas abri o gerenciador de atualização e atualizei tudo que podia!!
depois a rede começõu a ser detectada.
Fui lá e gravei a senha da rede e vua-la!!
Funcionou!!!

Sim e aparentemente o driver correto também foi carregado. No entanto, fica difícil dizer qual é o problema sem uma mensagem de erro ou qualquer coisa do tipo. Há uma discussão a respeito dessas placas no Linux que podem ser encontradas no Google e poderiam ajudar. Eis algumas:

Dê uma olhada nessas threads e veja se podem lhe ajudar. Essa primeira sugere instalar o driver diretamente do fabricante, mas eu não sei.. É uma questão de testar.

pra começar a te ajudar de o comando lspci no terminal e cole aqui o resultado.
com esse comando iremos ver se o fedora detectou sua placa wifi e qual é ela.

Você consegue ativar a wireless do seu notebook? No meu caso ao instalar o Ubuntu a wireless não ativava, nem mesmo o led acendia, somente após instalar o driver realtek consegui ativá-la e desde então não tive mais problemas.

E o Fedora já tá conseguindo customizar o Gnome3? Baixei aqui ontem, estou pensando em colocá-lo em dual-boot com o Ubuntu aqui pra ver se consigo adaptar-me ao Gnome3.

Você já tentou instalar o driver desta placa? Se não baixa no site da realtek e compila conforme link que já foi postado anteriormente. Tente descobrir se algum outro driver é compatível, no meu caso instalei o RTL8188CE, mas o lspci não mostrava nada de wireless.
