Bom dia a todos,
Faz tempo que tenho vontade em usar Void Linux como distro do dia a dia, pois tenho interesse em suas principais propostas ( "systemd free", runit como init system, XBPS...), mas o instalador em terminal e a 'curva de aprendizado' são sempre uma certa barreira de entrada... Mesmo assim, baixei as ISOs mais recentes de liveUSB com Xfce e MATE (ambas com glib), pra experimentar.

e resolvi tentar rodar o liveUSB do Void com Xfce nessa última; o liveUSB inicia, vai para a página de boot, mas não consegue "levantar vídeo" corretamente, e volta para a página de boot... Não tentei com o liveUSB com MATE, mas receio que vai cair no mesmo problema...
Minha pergunta é: em situações como essa, o que fazer? A página de 'boot' do liveUSB não traz opções de seleção de vídeo (como disponível no liveUSB do MX Linux), e aí fico sem ter o que fazer...
Detalhe: experimentei o mesmo liveUSB com Xfce em minha máquina (placa de vídeo AMD Cedar [Radeon HD 5000/6000/7350/8350 Series] ) e rodou de boa, embora tenha demorado "uma vida" para iniciar... O mesmo com o liveUSB com MATE. O problema parece ser a placa de vídeo onboard da outra máquina, AMD Trinity [Radeon HD 7480D], que é problemática no MX Linux também ; a resolução de vídeo não está certinha (o refresh rate está zerado, quando deveria ser 60 Hz e tem problema tmabém com a tal "correção Gamma"...
Gostaria da ajuda de quem souber o que fazer para bypassar essa limitação dos liveUSB do Void.

Sugiro baixar live usb de outra distro, como o Manjaro, e instalar o Void de dentro dele utilizando o método chroot. No docs.voidlinux.org ensina instalar via metodo chroot se não for familiar.

creio que se usar a iso minima dê bom, mas creio que a questão é a intenção de testar, se assim for o ideal seria uma máquina virtual para o seu caso, no void uso só as iso mínimas.
