Erro ao instalar VMware e Virtualbox [RESOLVIDO]

Boa noite galera!!

Tentei instalar o virtual box e o vmware mais ambos da erro de kernel, no vmware por exemplo ele me da essa mensagem:

Unable to start services.

See log file /tmp/vmware-root/vmware-modconfig-14731.log for details.

ja tentei algumas dicas para atualizar o KMS mais não deu certo. podem me ajudar???

Boa noite!

Dê uma olhada neste tutorial de instalação do VirtualBox, principalmente na parte de Problemas:

Quanto ao VMware, talvez este tutorial seja a solução:

Atualize o sistema, reinicie a maquina e depois instale. Supondo que esteja usando o Ubuntu, como esta no seu perfil:

sudo su -

apt-get get update ; apt-get upgrade

reboot

 

ao iniciar novamente:

sudo apt-get install dkms build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)

 

Ai tente instalar o virtualbox e VMware

tive problemas com a versão 15 pois ela não instalava os repositorios (apt-get update), então optei por essa versão que segundo o site é estável. se eu fazer isso será que vai voltar a dar aquele problema do comando apt-get??

Bom so para fechar, depois de tanto quebrar a cabeça, desinstalei o virtualbox com o purge (apt-get purge virtualbox) e depois entrei no site e instalei a versão 5.0.8 e funcionou, obrigado por tudo pessoal!!!!
