bem, por algum motivo eu não estou conseguindo verificar as novas atualizões para o ubuntu.

Estou usando a versão 11.04 beta 2. A mensagem de erro é: Falha ao baixar informações do repositório" "Verificar sua conexão com a internet"

alguma solução? =/

Não posso afirmar com 100% de certeza mas creio que isso está ocorrendo por tratar-se de um versão beta. Sugiro que espere para tentar atualizar quando houver o lançamento oficial pois os repositórios de atualização do Natty podem ainda não estar ativos.

Ainda não testei bem essa nova versão, mas só por observar essa saída de erro percebe-se que esse arquivo sources.list seu está indicando repositórios inexistentes dentro do domínio indicado.

Você configurou manualmente ou já estava assim?

O caminho final existe, mas você não precisa especificar o caminho inteiro no sources.list, apenas o http://ppa.launchpad.net/

mas eu não alterei nada

antes baixava as atualizações normalmente ou desde que estou usando a versão beta

como eu faço pra alterar para o endereço que você citou?

Abra o sources.list com qualquer editor de texto e vá na linha referente ao erro. Assim:

# vim /etc/apt/sources.list

Lá você procura a linha referente ao erro "http://ppa.launchpad.net/atareao/ataeao/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/source/Sources". Apaga até o ".net/".

Salve e tente atualizar novamente.

e acabei entrando em uma pasta que tem o arquivo "atareao-atareao-natty.list" e nele tem as linhas

só que não da pra editar e nem apagar
