Boa tarde,

A Canonical conseguiu esculhambar uma LTS, nem ela mais se pode usar ou confiar!!!

Colega, tente o seguinte:

1) Com exceção destas linhas abaixo, o resto você vai tirar o # de frente.

# deb cdrom:[Ubuntu 16.04 LTS _Xenial Xerus_ - Release i386 (20160420.1)]/ xenial main restricted
# deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu xenial partner

Nas demais onde aparece deb-src tire o #.

2) Tente novamente dar o apt-get e veja se essa nhaca vai!!!

3) Filho, se não resolver, formate o micro depois de salvar seus arquivos, jogue o DVD desta versão no lixo depois de quebra-lo no meio e,

4) Baixe o 14.04.4 LTS, instale e NÃO volte para o 16.04 até 04/2019 onde termina o suporte para o 14.04 LTS.

Boa noite!

Estou com uma VM com a mesma falha. Já tentei editar o arquivo, já mandei remover o cache após a atualização, mandei ele atualizar cada line e nada funcionou. E mesmo após cada alteração o erro persiste. Ele só busca atualização pelo CD-ROM.

Pessoal, resolvido a questão. Trata-se apenas de uma falha no DNS que nesta versão vem apresentando. Tive que fazer edição nos arquivos:

/etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head
/etc/resolv.conf

E coloquei os servidores do google. Ficando assim:
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

depois fiz uma limpeza do cache do resolvconf utilizando o comando: resolvconf clean
e fazendo uma limepza do cache do apt-get usando o comando: apt-get -u

Situação normalizada aqui na minha VM. Abraço!

Estou com este problema em uma VM também mas não consegui realizar os passos resolvconf clean e apt-get -u, poderia me dar mais detalhes de como foi corrigido o erro?
