Virtualbox vboxdrv

Fala galera blz ? Estou utilizando o Ubuntu Mate e após uma atualização de kernel o Virtualbox não funciona mais.... ao tentar executar vem isso:

$ virtualbox
WARNING: The vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded. Either there is no module
available for the current kernel (4.19.2-041902-generic) or it failed to
load. Please recompile the kernel module and install it by

sudo /sbin/vboxconfig

You will not be able to start VMs until this problem is fixed.

Ou seja o módulo vboxdrv não existe para o kernel atual - 4.19.2-041902-generic:

$ uname -r
4.19.2-041902-generic


Alguém aí já teve esse problema ? Valeu galera

sudo apt install linux-headers-`uname -r`

$ sudo apt install linux-headers-`uname -r`

Bem estranho por que estou usando a sources.list padrão do ubuntu mate:

a parada é o seguinte ... ou vc instala esse pacote aí ou usa o kernel anterior ... sem esse módulo correspondente o virtualbox não inicializa.

Me diz uma coisa ... qual o motivo de ter atualizado o kernel ???

Então cara pediu um update e eu acabei confirmando ... Pra mim acho que seria mais fácil utilizar o Kernel anterior... mas eu também não sei como fazer o grub dar boot nele...

nas opções do grub tem como vc selecionar o kernel, é um submenu da 2° opção.

Quando você atualiza o kernel, é necessário reinstalar o pacote vboxdrv, pois ele é um driver compilado levando em conta o kernel que o sistema está usando no momento da instalação do pacote.
Suba o S.O. com o kernel novo e reinstale o pacote.

Rode
Para instalar os headers

sudo apt install build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r) 

Fez esses procedimentos
Crie um grupo se ainda não existir para vboxusers

sudo addgroup vboxusers 

Adicione seu usuário ao grupo

sudo adduser your_username vboxusers 

sudo usermod -aG vboxusers your_username 

Caso não carregue o módulo
Tente

sudo modprobe vboxdrv 

Por último

sudo /sbin/vboxconfig 

systemctl status vboxdrv.service 

Em caso de falha

sudo systemctl restart vboxdrv.service 

Esses procedimentos eu testei no Debian Stretch 9.6 para instalar o Virtualbox 6.0 e deu tudo certo.
