galera estou com dificuldade tremenda em conseguir configurar o servidor X adequadamente..

Eu ja segui os tutoriais de instalacao umas 10 vezes.. ja peguei tutorial na net .. em fim nao chego a uma configuracao correta...

como podem ver ele ta pegando um monte de monitor.. monte de screen nao sei por que... e tambem nao sei como alterar / retirar os que nao precisamm

ja falaram sobre bumbleee nao sei oq.. nem sei se eu realmente preciso usar isso.. mas em fim acabei usando

so que eu ate instalo o driver da nvidia, mas ao final da instalacao ele pergunta se eu ja quero que ele configure no xorg.conf o driver.. se eu disser SIM, qdo eu entro no servidor X (startx) a tela fica toda preta... e se eu digo "NAO" ele ate entra no xorg mas o driver da NVIDIA nao é carregado (software da NVIDIA diz isto).


Entao se alguem puder me disser realmente os passos q eu devo seguir...


instalar bumble.

baixa pacote nvidia

entra no cd do slack pega o arquivo la pra deixa o noveau na blacklist..

tira o noveau

da reboot

instala o noveau blacklist do cd

reboot de novo


instalar drive nvidia


etc......



ja fiz essas coisas todas ai so q ta [*****] nao to conseguindo chega a uma configuracao adequada...




se alguem puder encarecidamente me ajudar eu fico agradecidissmo..

Bumblebee é um trocador de placa entre uma Intel e uma NVIDIA. Nem sempre funciona bem, porém, depende do hardware.

O que vc quer usar? a NVIDIA ou a Intel? qual a maior? geralmente se usa a offboard, a placa maior.

tem outra coisa, sua NVIDIA está com driver nv, (driver 2D, sem efeitos 3D) e a Intel está funcionando com driver genérico vesa. Portanto seus drivers não são os corretos.

que distro é? slackware? altere o titulo do seu post para "nvidia, bumblebee etc... em Slacware, pq instalar os drivers em slackware é diferente de outras distros e assim a galera que usa slackware bai ver e poder auxiliar.

quero usar a nvidia.

eu to ligado q eu to com os drivers errados por isso to pedindo ajuda.. eu coloquei dentro da comunidade do slack..

eu to perdidao..
