Wireless em HP Pavilion DV6 3052-nr [RESOLVIDO]

Pessoal esse é meu primeiro post espero estar fazendo tudo certo, precisso de uma ajuda, já fiz prticamente uns 8 a 9 tutoriais mas não consigo instalar minha placa wirless

Meu sistema é Debian 6.0 + gnome

Meu note é:
HP Pavilion DV6 3052-nr

A placa wireless é uma Intel mas não sei direito o modelo em minhas pesquisa vi os seguintes números 5100 e 5300 acho que pode ser o modelo....

Presiso de ajuda pois já faz 2 semanas de pesquisas e testes e nada de bom saiu, já reinstalei 3X o Debian, por um acaso no OpenSuse fiz funcionar (não sei como), mas sou mais ligado no Debian.

Qualquer ajuda é bem vinda.

Poste o resultado aqui, nele será listado o modelo de sua placa wireless.

vlw dlanger, consegui porêm se eu desativar a placa o note trava o que pode ser isso?

andei verificado parece que no momento que o kernel da Starting ACPI Services tranca o note se não tiver com a placa ligada

Já tive problema semelhante em meu hp dv2960, ao desligar a placa wireless o teclado trancava, isso com o debian.
Recomendo que instales o Ubuntu ou Mint, eles possuem um suporte maior a drivers além de já virem praticamente 'prontos' para o uso em desktops.

OK vlw a ajuda vou continuar minhas pesquisas, como originalmente minha pergunta era fazer a placa funcionar então a pergunta foi respondida vlw dlanger você me ajudou muito.

Mudei para Ubuntu que ofereceu pleno suporte ao meu note, obrigado pela ajuda e recomendação dlanger...
