1. Problemas para conectar o Ubuntu 9.10 a Internet

Boa Tarde a Todos!

Eu não estou conseguindo conectar o Ubuntu 9.10 com o mondem ZXDSL 831 Series ZTE Anatel nem via DSL e nem Wireless tenho um roteador Tenda W311R+ .

Instalei essa versão do Ubuntu, porque não consegui entrar na tela de instalar ou Experimentar sem o problema da tela ficar fora de foco e retorcida com essas versões mais novas como Ubuntu 12.04, 11.10, 11.04. Tentei de tudo, como não tenho drivers de CD/DVD, pois o mesmo esta com problema na mídia, eu estou dando boot no meu notebook via pendrive. A única que não ficou com esse problema foi o Ubuntu 9.10, então eu instalei essa versão no meu notebook HP Pavilion dv6650br para depois tentar fazer as atualizações do SO para as versões mais novas. O problema é que eu não estou conseguindo conectar na internet. Segue abaixo os procedimentos que eu realizei:


Conexões de rede na opção: DSL e adicionar.

Nome da Conexão: eu coloque o SPEEDY
e habilite conectar automaticamente;

Na Paleta DSL: Nome do Usuário: o meu e-mail do provedor da speedy.

serviço: SPEEDY;

senha: a minha senha testei no site do provedor e entrou no meu e-mail normalmente.

Na paleta Configurações PPP: foi em Configurar métodos e desabilitei o EAP somente;

Na paleta Configurações IPv4: Método: Automático (PPPoE);

e tentei conectar na internet, porém não deu certo.

então eu foi no terminal digitei o comando: "ifconfig -a" w trouxe esse resultado poderia informar se têm alguma coisa de errado?

Vejamos, você está criando uma conexão para sua banda larga correto?
Como está configurada a rede? Você pega o cabo ethernet que sai do modem e conecta no seu Notebook?
Seu modem está roteado? Outros computadores acessam normalmente?

# Execute esses comandos:
sudo dhclient eth0
sudo dhclient wlan0
e
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

e veja se obtem algum resultado.

Respondendo a sua pergunta, sim eu estou tentando fazer uma conexão de banda larga pois o minha conexão via wireless o Ubuntu 9.10 não esta reconhecendo. O problema é que quando eu insiro o cabo do mondem ZXDSL 831 Series ZTE Anatel faço toda a configuração via DSL eu não conecta como banda Larga e mostra uma mensagem: rede com fio conectado, porém não entra na internet. O meu modem não esta roteado, pois eu tenho um roteador Tenda W311R+ e no mesmo notebook eu tenho o Windows 7 Profissional e esta conectado via Wireless normalmente será que o Ubuntu 9.10 não reconheceu o drivers de rede da minha máquina?

Bruno: Vou tentar esse comandos e já te falo.

Pela saída do comando ifconfig que você postou a rede wireless foi reconhecida.
Mas pode tirar a dúvida usando o comando:

#lspci -v | grep -A12 "Wireless"

Bruno Eu executei o comando que vc falou para mim digitar, mostrou essas mensagem. Tentei fazer a conectar mais não deu certo, só mostrava essa mensagem: rede com fio conectada , porém não entrou na internet. Segue abaixo os comandos e os resultados da execução deles.

No meu notebook HP Pavilion dv6650br ele tem uma chave que liga e desliga o wireless. Percebi que a luz azul no Ubuntu 9.10 não fica acessa mais no Windows fica porque será, e eu não mexo nela, sempre fica na mesma posição.

Comando “sudo dhclient eth0”

O resultado do uso do "code", é essa caixinha.

ou
sudo ifup wlan0

O ifup serve para ativar a Placa de Rede.

sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces
ou
sudo vi /etc/network/interfaces


# E deixe ele assim:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp




# Sempre que alterar configurações de Rede, é preciso reiniciar o serviço de Rede:
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
