Adaptador USB reconhece a rede porém não conecta

Prezados, tenho um adaptador USB wireless Ralink, já configurado (tive que atualizar o kernel para conseguir), porém não consigo conectar. Fica pedindo a senha várias vezes. Seguem algumas informações. Uso Kubuntu 14.10 . Obrigado

Aconselho usar o Kubuntu 14.04, pois o 14.10 está sem suporte.

conecte o pendrive e execute o comando dmesg | tail -15

você já configurou o resolv.conf ??

retorne a saída do

ifconfig -a 

e as configurações do arquivo

cat /etc/network/interfaces
