1. Kernel-PAE nao reconhece os 04Gb Ram

Ola Pessoall!

Estou tentando fazer meu CentOS reconhecer toda minha RAM (04Gb), mas nao tive sucesso.
Instalei o Kernel-PAE e coloquei o parametro mem=4096M no grub e coloquei o PAE como default.

O sistema sobe, mas ao usar ferramentas como TOP ou WEBMIN para ver qto minha maquina tem disponivel, :( 02Gb apenas.

Alguem tem a luz?
A maquina eh 64bits, mas como minha imagem de instalacao eh 32bits, eu nao pretendia migrar. Ela tem trabalhado bem a 32bits. Nao vi a necessidade de refazer toda a instalacao.

Uma coisa interessante é que mesmo sem o Kernel PAE seu linux 32bits deveria reconhecer 3GB de ram, o que não está ocorrendo.

Percebi que você tem dois módulos de memória, talvez um esteja com defeito, o que explica o reconhecimento de apenas 2GB, então sugiro uma verificação neles com o memtest.

Outro teste para comprovar isso seria iniciar de um Live-CD/DVD 64bits e ver se são reconhecidos os 4GB.
