Nao consigo baixar nada no ubuntu quantal [RESOLVIDO]

Instalei o ubuntu hj e quando fui reproduzir uma misica pediu p baixar um decodificador de mp3, quando fui na central de programas para baixar deu um erro, e nao da p baixar nada nem pelo terminal, ja fiz aquilo de entrar no canal de software e nao tem nenhum PPA para desativar
quando clico em detalhes aparece isso, estou usando a versao 12.10(tambem nao da p atualizar o sistema)

O Ubuntu 12.10 já chegou ao fim do seu tempo de suporte, ele não vai ter mais atualizações de segurança e correção de bugs, instale uma versão do Ubuntu que ainda tenha suporte como 14.04 LTS ou 16.04 LTS, ou outra distro Linux que ainda tenha suporte.

o suporte ao ubuntu 12.10 acabou em 2014 ... é uma de vc instalar uma versão atual do ubuntu aí !! sugiro a 16.04

12.10 não tem mais suporte... Instale outra versão. 16.04 é a versão LTS

Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) foi lançado em abril/2010 e já está sem suporte desde janeiro/2011
Sugiro que faça bkp de seus arquivos e instale Ubuntu 16.04 LTS que terá suporte até abril/2021

Ubuntu Quantal, ele é muito velho. Não atualiza mais, nem há mais pacotes para ele....

faz backup de seus arquivos e faz uma instalação limpa de Ubuntu novo, ou de outra distro. Por exemplo o Mint é até mais fácil que o Ubuntu.
