Canais de Sftware???

Olá, pessoal! Tudo bem?

Claro, aqui sempre está tudo muito bem!
Você aí, o que que tá olhando?
Se tem algum problema, venha pra cá e abre o verbo que a galera aqui é "phd" em resolver problemas.
Quer ver? Então presta atenção:

É o seguinte:
Toda vez que clico "Editar > Canais de Software", aparece a mensagem "O Aplicativo Software Sources foi fechado Inesperadamente"! O que deu nele? Revoltado, agora?:)

O nosso colega Linuxer "mxa??" também estava assim.
Peguei uma carona no bonde dele, mas parece que enguiçou.
Assim, resolvi pegar este aqui. Espero que ele também tenha vindo pra cá.

Lá, no bonde anterior o nosso querido ICavalheiro pediu: "Posta o conteúdo do arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list".

De carona,
já que sigo para o mesmo destino que o colega que "ainda" não tinha postado o conteúdo solicitado,
eu o fiz.
E comecei a ficar desconfiado do porque dele não ter respondido:
é que a tentativa de atender ao pedido foi frustrada.
O que eu fiz? Veja:

:~$ /etc/apt/sources.list
bash: /etc/apt/sources.list: Permissão negada

:~$ sudo su ...

# /etc/apt/sources.list
bash: /etc/apt/sources.list: Permissão negada

# cd /etc/apt
:/etc/apt# ls
apt.conf.d sources.list.d trusted.gpg
preferences.d sources.list.distUpgrade trusted.gpg~
sources.list trustdb.gpg trusted.gpg.d

Como vêem, o comando sugerido, executado como "$" não foi atendido, assim como foi negado como "#".
Entrei no diretório e listei.
Acho que não consigo mais do que isto, sem um help.

Rode isso:

cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list > texto

gedit texto

Agora copie e cole o conteúdo de "texto" aqui.

Encerrando, rode isso:

sudo apt-get update > texto

gedit texto

e mais uma vez, poste o conteúdo de "texto" aqui.

Bem, ham, ham...

Não entendi muito bem a parte que diz:
"Rode isso: cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list > texto".

Rodei "cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list > texto" e não deu em nada;

Aí, resolvi rodar "cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list" e deu em tudo isto que vai abaixo,
mas antes quero dizer que também não entendi a outra parte... aquela que diz:
"gedit texto".

O texto que vou colar agora, não teve nada a ver com "gedit texto".
Onde foi que eu errei?

Não é exatamente assim, mas no Menu de aplicativos > Configurações > Canais de Software, valeu?
