Usar o cache ssd

Boa noite a todos

Instalei o Linux Mint em um notebook asus s46c, que possui um hd híbrido(500gb + 24gb ssd).
Procurei alguma forma de fazer um cache no ssd, semelhante o ExpressCache no windows, achei informações sobre o bcache, porém, pelo que entendi, só consigo habilitar essa opção ao formatar o linux. Nao gostaria de formatar.

Tem alguma opção para fazer isso?

Você pode usar o Flashcache.

No artigo indicado pelo colega há uma nota sobre o não funcionamento deste programa desde o kernel da série 4.8.14.
