Configurar WIFI RTL8188CE no Linux Mint 18.1

Acabei de instalar o linux mint 18.1 no entanto estou sem wifi em meu notebook..
Gostaria de saber como faço para instalar.. Em um tutorial pedia para baixar uns pacotes no entanto não tenho wifi...E não consigo colocar via cabo pois perdi o cabo...

Existe apenas opção 'Enabe wifi' 'Enable Networking' 'VPN Connctions' e 'Edit Connectionc' o restante esta bloqueado.. E mesmo Escolhendo 'Enable wifi' não aparece nada

Abre o terminal, logue como root e joga esse comando

dhclient wlan0 

configure complete, now type 'make' and pray.

Não sei se funciona no Mint, mas tente o 'sudo wifi-menu'. Ele lista os Wi-Fi por perto e você se conecta.

Referente ao pacote realtek eu fiz umas pesquisas e voltei com este resultado:

Network Controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n Wifi Adapter (rev 01) 

E eu não sou familiarizado com essas questões portanto eu fico em dúvida quanto a realizar downloads e instalações de pacotes, driver e depois vir a dar erros (motivo esse que resolvi re-instalar o OS)

Onde eu poderia realizar o downlad? Se possível!
E como estou sem cabo para conectar a internet precisaria fazer o download?
