Notebook com mint não conecta a wifi [RESOLVIDO]

Boa noite, sou iniciante no linux. Instalei recentemente a distribuição do mint , mas não consigo reconhecer redes wifi, mas o computador reconhece que tenha uma placa conectada.
Minha placa é uma Atheros Qualcomm QCA6174 802.11ac.

Testa o seguinte:

sudo modprobe -rv ath10k_pci 

E depois:

sudo modprobe -v ath10k 

Se teu wifi funcionar, faça o procedimento abaixo:

- navegue até o diretório /etc/modprobe.d/. Lá terá um arquivo chamado blacklist. Abra-o com seu editor de preferência. Por ex:

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist 

Adicione a seguinte linha abaixo das demais. Caso tenha algum conteúdo não apague:

blacklist ath10k_pci 

Salve e saia do arquivo.

Você vai ter que adicionar o seguinte ao /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian sid main non-free 

Você pode substituir o ftp.de.debian.org por qualquer um dos mirrors listados aqui:

https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/firmware-atheros/download

Depois de adicionar o non-free à sources.list, faça:

apt-get update && apt-get install firmware-atheros 

Obs: Não tenho certeza se o nome é este mesmo firmware-atheros. Dá uma pesquisada no repositório depois de atualizar (apt-get update). Galera que usa Mint pode te dar uma informação mais precisa.

Bom, acho que é isto. Dentro deste pacote de firmware tem o driver apropriado para tua placa. Veja nos links a seguir:

Tua placa é a Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac, que é suportada pelo driver ath10k. É este driver que tem que aparecer na linha do Network controller.

Você adicionando o repositório non-free à tua sources.list, o sistema estará apto à receber tais firmwares.

Depois de adicionar o non-free, atualize teu repositório para que os pacotes inclusos no non-free fiquem disponíveis para você.

Um usuário reportou que funcionou no kernel 4.4.0-31-generic e ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS mas não testei
