Vídeos travando e áudio normal [RESOLVIDO]

Bom dia!

Sou muito novo no linux (instalei há cerca de uma semana).
Estou com um problema de quando vou assistir vídeos, estes ficam travando ligeiramente. O áudio fica normal, mas a imagem fica congelada. Notei que acontece mais com streaming (netflix, vídeos ao vivo no youtube etc.).

Gostaria da ajuda de vocês... Obrigado!

-ubuntu-1804-lts instalado no meu laptop (Ci3-2310M + 4 GB + Intel-Sandybridge ) não apresentou nenhum travamento ao rodar vídeos no vlc ou google-chrome após seguir as dicas abaixo

Vá em Drivers Adicionais e instale o intel-microcode

Vá em Atualizador de Programa e instale as atualizações.

Não aparece para mim. Fala que não existem mais drivers a serem instalados.

Aparentemente resolveu com as atualizações indicadas aqui (ao menos não travou ainda depois que fiz), então obrigado!
