A questão é apenas o seguinte como saber a qual hd ele se refere? que o hd está apresentando erro é bem claro, porém eu tenho 3 hds nessa máquina samba, apenas o hd1 tem 4 particões, o resto tem apenas 1 particiçao então quando ele faz referencia a "ata1" seria o hd 1 correto? e quando a referencia é a ata5 de qual hd ele está falando?? valeu galera.. agradeço qualquer ajuda.

Cara, utilizando o comando:


smartctl -t long /dev/sda
ele simplesmente parou de apresentar o erro, vou verificar mais opções do /smartmontools, até configurar na inicialização do Debian.. mas valeu ai pela dica.. caminho mostrado, caminho seguido.. problema resolvido.. valeu irmão..
