Erro: Linha mal formada [RESOLVIDO]

Olá pessoal, sou iniciante no Linux e como membro desta comunidade. Espero, em breve, poder mais contribuir do que solicitar. De qualquer forma, aqui vai a minha solicitação.

Precisava ler um pdf com alterações e correções feitas por terceiros e não conseguia com o leitor de pdf do Ubuntu. Fiz a besteira de tentar baixar o adobe reader e ocorreu um problemão.
Copiei do terminal a mensagem de erro que surge ao tentar fazer atualizações.

Assim sendo, faço três perguntas:
1) Que tipo de problema é esse?
2) Como posso corrigi-lo?
3) Quais as indicações para leitor/editor de pdf que possa ler alterações provavelmente feitas em programas do Windows?

Abra o terminal e rode isso:

cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list

Poste o resultado aqui.

Vc pode instalar o Adobe Reader, sim.

Depois que vc fizer o conserto, rodar a atualização dos fontes e verificar que o erro sumiu, poderá instalar o Adobe Acrobat Reader assim:

sudo apt-get install acroread

Ou, ainda, pela "Central de Programas", buscando por "acroread" (é estranho, mas se procurar por Adobe, ele não aparece).

E um detalhe: não existe tradução, ou seja, vc terá que usar o Acrobat Reader 9 em inglês.

Pinduvoz, deu certo. A mensagem de erro sumiu e eu consegui fazer atualizações.
Muitíssimo obrigado.
E de quebra, também baixei o Adobe Reader.

Aparece esse erro quando digito no terminal: sudo apt-get update.

Estou iniciando no linux.

Se alguém puder me ajudar, agradeço demais!!
