Boa noite, eu vou ter que explicar o contexto primeiro.
Alguns meses atrás no serviço distirbuí desktops completos, com uma certa marca de teclado.
Após serem distribuídas e em alguns casos os sistemas operacionais sofrerem atualizações, etc eu passei a ter reclamações de máquinas em que o teclado repetia teclas, eu tentei várias configurações diferentes mas o problema só foi contornado trocando alguns teclados novos, por teclados antigos, de outras marcas...
Foi aberto um chamado relativo a um teclado e o meu colega descobriu que o teclado ao ser manuseado quase apagou todos os documentos do usuário.
Hoje eu fiz um atendimento em que constatei isso diretamente, o teclado digita teclas aleatórias sozinho abre e fecha janelas , faz o diabo.
Na máquina em questão, que está rodando o ubuntu 16.04 , com gnome-fallback-compiz, a troca do teclado por outro modelo elimina totalmente o problema. As teclas são digitadas corretamente , no ritmo certo e sem nenhum efeito colateral.
Prosseguindo, eu volto para a minha seção com o teclado endemoninhado, e plugo ele na minha máquina, que roda o kubuntu 16.04 mas que eu atualizo os pacotes com mais frequencia.
E nada de estranho acontece, o teclado funciona perfeitamente, nem gerou nenhuma mensagem de erro nos logs.
No tempo do slackware quando eu suspeitasse ter relacionado ao X11 eu podia apertar ctrl+alt+2 e ir para uma 'interface de texto' e logar nela para rodar comandos ou ler logs etc, esse recurso foi removido do ubuntu? Me parece que para ter uma idéia do que acontece durante o mau-funcionamento, eu precisaria de uma forma não-interativa de colher informação da máquina,e saber exatamente quais informações tem maior probabilidade de me auxiliarem, já que eu perco totalmente o controle do teclado logo que ele é plugado na porta usb.
Caso alguém tenha algumas idéias sobre como começãr, estou abrindo o tópico à noite longe do serviço e longe do equipamento, então não estou com os detalhes ainda, mas na segunda já poderei anexar logs e saídas de comando que forem sugeridos.

Não conheço esse modelo de teclado (Hardline)

a) Atualizou o bd do USB antes de roda o lsusb?

b) O problema é só em uma determinada interface gráfica (gnome) ou também no KDE, mate, xfce etc.

c) Tem problema modo texto também?


d) O teclado é esse?

Sugiro:

1- Atualizar o kernel e desativar o tal AppArmor (AppArmor: AppArmor Filesystem Enabled) para testar no pc problemático.

2- Como esse teclado problemático funciona no cd live do Ubuntu ou do Mint ATUAL?

3- Pode ser problema de atualização do Sistema instalado não vejo nada de "falta de firmware" ou "conflitos" aparentemente.

4- Testar outras interfaces gráficas.

5- Pode também restaurar as configurações do teclado na sua interface gráfica.

6- Em último caso ou vc reinstala o sistema ou troca de teclado.


Tem vários “I/O error” ai.

O log do dmesg seria legal quando o problema acontecer, pode usar 2 teclados. Um genérico que funciona 100% na hora do problema ai é só pegar os logs (WARNING, error, erro Error, ERROR, FAILED, I/O, usb e firmware).

O modelo do teclado é "Hardline"
Os teclados são todos extremamente novos, não é falha em um teclado mas vários do mesmo modelo, tudo do mesmo lote.
Alguns deles foram usados para instalar o proprio ubuntu ou mint, por isso não detectamos nada de estranho antes de distribuir.
Tenho vários modelos de teclado distribuidos, apenas os hardline causam problemas e não em todas as máquinas,aparentemente
o problema não surgiu em nenhuma máquina windows.
A minha rede não está homogênea, eu tenho maquinas com ubuntu da versão 14 até a 16.10,linux mint, e várias versões de windows,
mas como o lote é novo é muito improvável algum teclado desses esteja instalado em uma máquina com ubuntu menor que o 16.04
Neste momento estou digitando exatamente com o teclado que eu identifiquei o problema, no meu desktop rodando ubuntu 16.04,
que é a mesma versão que teve comportamento totalmente caótico em outro equipamento. A principal diferença entre as duas é que
no meu equipamento o desktop é KDE sem compiz , na máquina do problema é gnome-fallback com compiz.

Esta saída de lsusb lista o teclado em equipamento sem o sintoma, em uma máquina que cause o erro , eu não consigo digitar nada.

Até o momento, nesta máquina nenhum hardware parece estar se comportando mal, talvez uma combinação de PCWARE+Teclado Hardline+Alguma versão do kernel tenha a ver com o
problema, hoje não posso determinar se o problema ocorre somente com essa combinação, segunda-feira eu posso descobrir isso.

Acrescentando um detalhe, o comportamento errático apareceu em máquina com Ubuntu 16.04.2 e não em Ubuntu 16.04.4
No syslog da máquina-problema tenho mais de 5500 linhas , a maioria eventos de rede então vou precisar resumir:

Sugiro:

1- Atualizar o kernel e desativar o tal AppArmor (AppArmor: AppArmor Filesystem Enabled) para testar no pc problemático.
2- Como esse teclado problemático funciona no cd live do Ubuntu ou do Mint ATUAL?
3- Pode ser problema de atualização do Sistema instalado não vejo nada de "falta de firmware" ou "conflitos" aparentemente.
4- Testar outras interfaces gráficas.
5- Pode também restaurar as configurações do teclado na sua interface gráfica.
6- Em último caso ou vc reinstala o sistema ou troca de teclado.

Tem vários “I/O error” ai.

O log do dmesg seria legal quando o problema acontecer, pode usar 2 teclados. Um genérico que funciona 100% na hora do problema ai é só pegar os logs (WARNING, error, erro Error, ERROR, FAILED, I/O, usb e firmware).

Atualizei o ubuntu inteiro, bibliotecas, kernel, X11 etc
Confirmei que o problema não é da interface grafica, em modo texto puro o teclado dá o mesmo tipo de erro
Reinstalar sistema ta inviável por enquanto, banda de internet menor e instavel, só pra atualizar já perdi horas, e o desktop tá em uso não na bancada.
Troquei o teclado e vou tentar manter esse modelo longe dos usuários, até poder comprar outros.

Pelo menos foi útil pra pensar num modo de monitorar a maquina desde que liga sem mexer nela:
