Grub não aparece no dual boot, inicia diretamente o ubuntu [RESOLVIDO]

Particionei o disco usando gparted e instalei o Windows 10 em uma partição, quando fui recuperar o boot do ubuntu tive o seguinte erro:

Installing for i386-pc platform.

grub-install: warning: this GPT partition label contains no BIOS Boot Partition; embedding won't be possible.

grub-install: warning: Embedding is not possible.  GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists.  However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and their use is discouraged..

grub-install: error: will not proceed with blocklists.  

solucionei usando o seguinte comando no prompt do Windows:

bcdedit /set "{bootmgr}" path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi 

porém agora o ubuntu inicia direto e não me mostra a tela de dual boot, consigo iniciar o Windows dando boot diretamente pela bios. Alguém sabe como resolver?

-provavelmente vc instalou windows em uefi e o ubuntu em legacy

Dei update mais algumas vezes no grub e o hud de inicialização voltou a aparecer!
