tenho uma placa Nvidia nForce 405 geforce 6100 e queria instalar o driver do mesmo acontece que sempre que tento instalar me retorna isso:

Faz assim:

Abra o terminal e entre como root:

# yum install kernel-devel

E depois instale o driver:

./NVIDIA.xxx.sh --kernel-source-path /usr/src/kernels/2.6.xxx

Ou então:

# yum install nvidia

Desculpaí,

Acho melhor eu mesmo escrever o conteúdo do artigo relacionado ao seu problema,


Adicionando o driver Livna.
# rpm -Uvh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm

Instalando Driver Nvidia.
# yum install kmod-nvidia

Daí só reiniciar a máquina e já era!

opa blz mais uma coisinha toda vez que p sistema carrega ele modifica minha resolução para 800x600 sendo que minha resolução é de 1024x768 como faço pra ele ja iniciar com minha resolução correta
