Ubuntu sem sistema [RESOLVIDO]

Bom, sou iniciante em linux, eu instalei em uma maquina QBEX(NM70I) Celetron847 o sistema Ubuntu Linux 12.10 (i386)
quando eu abro o terminal e vopu atualizar, ele não faz o download corretamente, aparece isso aqui:

Cara , o Ubuntu 12.10 ja perdeu o suporte já faz algum tempo . Eu te recomendaria fazer um downgrade p/ o 12.04 que tera suporte ate 2017 ou o 14.04 que tera suporte ate 2019 ou ainda se nao quiser atualizar , siga os passos da minha dica[1].

Obs1 : O codiname da versão 12.10 é "quantal" sem aspas
Obs2: Quando entra como root (sudo su ou apenas su) , os comando nao precisa do 'sudo' no começo do comando , mas usando root , é BEM mais arriscado , entao , se puder , utilize apenas os comandos com 'sudo' e nao entre como root

não está atualizando, pq não tem mais suporte, não tem mais repositórios para essa versão.
eu usaria a 14.

Celetron 847 é o processador da QBEX. Não possuo placa de vídeo ainda, por eu usar para um servidor teste.

-para saber sua placa de video abra terminal e rode comando:
lspci | grep -i vga

-depois poste resultado da saida do comando

-VC tem uma placa de video Intel on-board >> boa compatibilidade com linux >> dificilmente terá problemas c/ alguma distro!!
