Imprimindo diretamente para a porta de impressora USB

Olá Pessoal,

Estou usando o linux Mint e tenho uma impressora Bematech MP-4000 TH que preciso imprimir direto mas não consigo.

ja dei acesso a porta da impressora mas não funciona. Segue abaixo com as informações:

Instalou o cups?

Já instalei o cups quando mando imprimir pelo gerenciador de impressão imprime normalmente. O problema é quando mando direto para porta usb
