Erros no apt-get update e firefox não carrega [RESOLVIDO]

olá boa tarde,

Ubuntu 16.04
Estou tento problemas de repositório " is configured multiple times" alguns /etc/apt/souces.list e outros no sources.list.d
e estou me enrolando com os erros abaixo e firefox não quer iniciar.

O seu problema é usar PPA's demais. Eles devem ter algum pacote em comum que deve estar conflitando com o Firefox.

Isso é só um palpite meu, mas acho que é isso:
- Você instalou diversos navegadores de seus sites oficiais e instalou o pacote .deb (que automaticamente adiciona alguns PPAs).
Agora o negócio é, se você não quiser formatar, dar um jeito de usar os navegadores e VirtualBox apenas dos repositórios para não quebrar o sistema e limpar o sources.list.

Este repositório é completamente desnecessário e deve o causador do problema com o Firefox.

Remova isso e reinstale o Firefox:

sudo rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-mozilla-security-ubuntu-ppa-xenial.list

sudo apt update

sudo apt purge firefox

sudo apt install firefox 

Dica: Não mantenha muitos PPA's ativos, eles são geradores de conflitos com os repositórios oficiais do Ubuntu. Só use o que realmente for indispensável.
