Som não funciona no Debian Squeeze [RESOLVIDO]

Bem pessoal, sempre utilizei o Ubuntu e nunca tive problema com o som. Agora resolvi mudar para Debian Squeeze e o som não está funcionando. Ele identificou minhas duas placas de som, mas nenhuma delas funciona. Já fiz todo procedimento básico pela interface gráfica, mas sem sucesso. Alguém poderia me ajudar?

Olá genesiogui. Eu sou novato no mundo GNU/Linux portanto existe uma enorme possibilidade de ser besteira o que eu vou te dizer.

Pesquisando por uma distro GNU/Linux que poderia me satisfazer cheguei à conclusão de que a Debian é mais a minha cara. Tenho um notebook bem meia boca e, para poupar recursos da máquina, realizei uma instalação totalmente enxuta do sistema via linha de comando seguindo tutoriais.

Fiz a instalação com a imagem .iso BusinessCard disponível no site oficial da distro sem selecionar nenhum pacote adicional. Depois instalei o XFCE e reiniciei a máquina.

Eu pensei que teria que configurar tudo, mas fiquei surpreso pois TODO o meu hardware foi reconhecido. Vídeo, áudio, rede.

O que aconteceu aqui é que os meus controladores de volume no notebook não funcionam, pois precisam de pacotes específicos para funcionarem (acredito).

Meu áudio funciona perfeitamente, só que para aumentar, diminuir e balancear o áudio eu tenho que usar uma aplicação chamada AUMIX que está no menu multimídia. Os botões do notebook para aumentar, diminuir e desligar o áudio, não funcionam.

Se eu estiver certo e você conseguir localizá-la você vai ver que vai abrir um terminal com alguns esquemas que tentam ilustrar os gráficos de aplicativos de áudio e você pode controlar o volume utilizando as setas direcionais.

Bem... espero que isso te ajude. Caso contrário, peço desculpas. Sou realmente Noobie em GNU/Linux.

Valeu NoobieTux pela tentativa. Eu estou utilizando a Interface Gnome. O sistema reconheceu minhas placas de som, tenho acesso normal ao controlador de audio, lá está listado as duas placas de audio porém não funfa. Não é problema nas placas porque elas funcionam no Windows Vista q também uso no mesmo PC.

é só vc adicionar o usuario ao grupo de audio...no debian geralmente tem estas frescuras!!!agora não lembro o nome do grupo mas vai ser alguma coisa com #addgroup usario grupo flw

É... tomara que você consiga resolver o seu problema o mais rápido possível. Ficar sem áudio é algo inimaginável pra mim.

Quanto aos ambientes gráficos eu realmente tenho dificuldades para saber o que um ou outro suporta e até mesmo o que está disponível em um ambiente e que não está em outro.

Bem pessoal, resolvi parte do meu problema usando o comando:
# sudo apt-get install pulseaudio
Depois aumentei o volume para 100%. Só que funciona somente no Reprodutor de Filmes. Continuo com o problema nos navegadores. Os vídeos do youtube por exemplo está sem audio. Os navegadores são Iceweasel e Epiphany. Alguém tem noção do que seja?

Vamos por partes:


Primeiro instale o icewasel (mozilla)
O epiphany é fraquinho.




Entre neste site e siga as intruções para para colocar o seite no seu repositório:
www.debian-multimedia.org

For squeeze (stable) alpha, amd64, armel, hppa, i386, ia64, mipsel, powerpc and sparc packages
add in your /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Cole uma das linhas abaixo

deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org squeeze main non-free
or
deb ftp://ftp.debian-multimedia.org squeeze main non-free
or
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org stable main non-free
or
deb ftp://ftp.debian-multimedia.org stable main non-free


sudo apt-get update


depois
sudo synaptic

instale os codecs
no menu do synaptic:
procurar> digite codec

e vai instlando todos os codecs que parecerem úteis.

Depois teste o som.
