The Debian project is pleased to announce the eighth update of its
oldstable distribution Debian 11 (codename "bullseye"). This point
release mainly adds corrections for security issues, along with a few
adjustments for serious problems. Security advisories have already been
published separately and are referenced where available.

Please note that the point release does not constitute a new version of
Debian 11 but only updates some of the packages included. There is no
need to throw away old "bullseye" media. After installation, packages
can be upgraded to the current versions using an up-to-date Debian
mirror.

Those who frequently install updates from security.debian.org won't have
to update many packages, and most such updates are included in the point
release.

New installation images will be available soon at the regular locations.

Upgrading an existing installation to this revision can be achieved by
pointing the package management system at one of Debian's many HTTP
mirrors. A comprehensive list of mirrors is available at:

Usei o Debian por 5 anos, nao vejo mais sentido. Nao enxergo mais a mesma estabilidade nele, toda semana me deparo com pequenos bugs, uns pepinos com o apt de vez em quando, dependencias quebradas.

Nunca liguei pra software mais recente, mas se eu tiver que engolir bugs, que seja com os softwares mais novos.

Na versão testing+unstable, que também gosto muito e uso em outra máquina, é frequente esse report, mas também até agora não houve um que o aptitude não resolveu. Essa é a dica: se o apt chora, chame o aptitude, ele é o apt para preguiçosos, xd.
Cada um deve descobrir o que é melhor para o seu perfil de uso. De vez em quando eu faço um tour por outras distros linux e acabo no debian. Pra mim ainda vale muito a pena. Talvez porque eu faça questão de ter tudo nativo da distro, sem depender de flatpaks/snap/appimage.
