Bom dia pessoal. sou novo no linux. E estou com muitas dificuldades para criar um servidor de arquivos.
Bom é o seguinte. Instalei o Debian e configurei o samba como PDC, mas depois descobri que alguns programas que ficam em rede nao estao rodando, ae resolvi criar um servidor de arquivos. O que eu estou querendo é o seguinte.

Aqui na empresa, tem varios setores ( RH, FINACEIRO, CONTABILIDADE ADM, JURIDICO etc.)Eu estou querendo criar uma pasta para cada setor, sendo que cada setor trabalha em torno de 2 a 3 pessoas. Eu queria que cada pessoa pudesse acessar estas pasta com as suas proprias senhas.

Ja tentei de tudo e nao estou conseguindo resultado. Alguém poderia me ajudar.

Vou disponibilizar ,eu SMB.CONF pois pode ser que ele esteja com alguns erros. Ou caso alguem tenho um SMB.CONF que ja faça isso, se puder disponibilizar, eu agradeço.

Pelo que vejo da sua Section [RH], O procedimento é este mesmo.
No caso, "security = user" é um parâmetro global. Você não deve usá-lo dentro dos compartilhamentos.
Ficaria então:

Onde apenas o usuário "Michel" teria acesso aos arquivos.

Este smb.con e de um servidor configurado por mim e esta funcionando 100% e so alterar para oque vc precisa neste caso uso grupos para acessos as pastas

Ola pmorettobr, vi o seu smb.conf
Como sou novo no LINUX, queria saber se eu posso so substituir o meu smb.conf para o seu. Ou eu devo fazer todas as configuraçoes novamente.
Outra coisa. OS usuarios e as pastas que o samba ira criar como no seu exemplo:

Eu devo cadastrar no samba o usuario ( Antonio carlos "esse é seu exemplo") e a senha para ele. Também eu devo cadastra-lo como usuario do debian? tem necessidade também?
