boa noite pessoal blz? apareceu um problema aqui do nada, que nao consigo me conectar mais a nenhuma rede wireless quando vou conectar aparece o seguinte erro:Connection Failed: unable to get Ip Adress, começou do nada este problema oq sera?

ae pessoal fiz um teste, no Win7 conecta normal, no Backtrack continuo com o problema, oq sera? o router ta com segurança Wep e com o Mac Adress

Parece que ele não consegue o ip por DHCP, tenta colocar o ip manualmente.

fala pessoal,

Vamos ajudar ai pq estou com o msm problema,
quando abro o abro o Wicd logo apos dar um startx aparece esta mensagem...

Could not connect to wicd's D-Bus interface. Check the Wicd log for error messages.

aperto em ok nesta mensage ai abre o wicd, o estranho é que consigo ver as rede disponivel mas quando mando conectar aparece esta mensagem que nao consegue pegar o ip.

alguemsabe oq pode estar acontecendo?

nidio,
teria de verificar se o daemon do wicd está rodando corretamente (por achar as redes parece estar, mas pelo erro parece que não hehe)

no slack ele fica em /etc/rc.d/rc.wicd, no Fedor acredito ser /etc/init.d/wicd

execute o seguinte comando para ver:

/etc/init.d/wicd restart

e tente conectar, ve se consegue (ou se apresenta algum erro)

mas foi porque eu deixei o "networkmanager" e o "wicd" rodando.

verifique se os dois não estão em execução ao mesmo tempo

já tentou pelo terminal rodando:

#dhclient eth0 <<<eth0 troque pela sua interface de rede caso seja diferente

Fiz o que vc indicou mas continua aparecendo o erro...

root@bt:~# wicd restart

olha o erro que aparece...

Connection failed: Could not contact the wireless access point

Eu instalei o NetworkManager pra fazer a conexão do meu celular
Entaum dei um STOP no processo do NM e dei um wicd restart tentei a conexao novamente e apareceu um erro diferente olha ai...

Connection failed: unable to get IP adsress

oq posso fazer agora??

ele começou logo depois que você instalou o NetworkManager?
no terminal digite:

#ntsysv

Na lista, deixe marcado somente o NetworkManager ou Wicd
reinicie o sistema e tente novamente
isso para garantir que somente um deles estará rodando.

Acredito que a conexão grave logs no /var/log/messages, se não der certo poste o log ai também
