Ajuda com instalação do driver de video NVIDIA [RESOLVIDO]

Oi pessoal.
Baixei o seguinte driver direto do site da nvidia : NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.49.run

Antes de começar a instalaçao do driver de vídeo, eu instalei o "build-essential".

Aconteceu os seguintes problemas:
1- Conflito com um tal de nouveal - consegui desabilitar, o proprio setup da nvidia desabilita.
2- Aqui eu não entendi direito, parece que para correr a instalação, é necessário o gcc 4.6, o problema é que eu tenho o 4.7. Mesmo assim eu ignorei e prossegui.
3- Esse eu num intendi foi P!@#$% nenhuma.

Peguei o log gerado pelo setup.

Alguem pode me ajudar, faz muito tempo que eu tento instalar esse driver, mas nunca consegui, por isso recorria a outros métodos que deram certo, mas agora só serve se for dessa forma, o problema foi pro lado pessoal.kkk

Bom já instalou o build-essential então acho que só falta o header do kernel:

apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-$(uname -r) dkms 

 

Feito isso aperte ctrl+f1 para ir para o modo texto logue como root e excute:

service gdm3 stop

 

Feito isso rode o executável novamente apertando selecionando NO quando der o erro no gcc

Se não der este drive tente outras versões do drive. no Slackware mesmo tive que testar umas 3 versões diferente até achar uma que não desse erro.

uso o OpenSuse estou começando agora e deu o mesmo erro que o amigo citou ai... como resolvo no OPenSuse13?

E aí brother.
É o seguinte, eu não uso o opensuse. No meu debian 7 eu tive que instalar o build essential e depois tive que instalar o linux headers, depois disso é só fazer a instalação normalmente.

1- instala o build essential e o linux headers;
2- encerre o modo gráfico;
3- instale o pacote;
4- reinicie o pc
Tudo pronto agora.

Ah, no meu caso tive uma incompatibilidade com o nouveau "drive opensource para placas nvidia" que estava rodando, como só pede rodar um drive apenas vc tem que desativar o tal nouveau e reiniciar o pc e fazer o processo do 1 ao 4 novamente. Pra desativar é fácil, o proprio setup da nvidia vai te informar o conflito e vai te dar a opção para desativar automaticamente, vc só precisa marcar sim, reiniciar e tentar d novo.
