Tenho Linux. Como colocar o Windows sem perder o Boot do linux [RESOLVIDO]

Olá galerinha massa!

é o seguinte: Sou iniciante no Ubuntu e venho mais uma vez pedir a ajuda de vocês.

Sempre uso tre boot aqui na minha maquina: Win XP, Win 7 e Ubuntu. rsrsr. Pra isso, eu instalo nesta ordem que citei e funciona normal.

Hoje resolvi formatar e instalar só o ubuntu. estou com o sistema perfeito, atualizado e tals. Queria instalar o Win 7 de novo tbm (pra deixar como 2 opção) mas sei que se fazer isso, o boot so linux será perdido. Me ajudem como proceder de alguma forma para isso não acontecer ou de como recuperar o boot do ubuntu depois que eu instalar o windows 7. Obrigado.

Ao instalar o W7 com certeza vai perder o Grub, então depois de instalar o W7 siga essa dica do Marlon: http://www.vivaolinux.com.br/dica/Como-recuperar-o-GRUB-em-3-comandos-Esse-funciona/

-vc perderá o boot/grub do linux ao instalar qq windows
-basta usar a dica passada pelo lordmetalex p/ recuperar o grub
-depois entre no terminal no ubuntu e rode o comando " sudo update " p/ adicionar todos SO ao grub do ubuntu

Gente, Não estou conseguindo. Fiz tudo que vcs me mandaram aqui mas infelizmente não deu.

Vou colocar aqui os comandos que digitei no terminal e o que as mensagens que me retornou.

sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/sda


/usr/sbin/grub-probe: erro: cannot find a device for /mnt/boot/grub (is /dev mounted?).

CARA, MUITO OBRIGADO, AJUDOU MUITO... eU ESTAVA COLOCANDO "L" E NA VERDADE É "T" KKK

SÓ QUE O MEU AINDA NÃO RESOLVEU O PROBLEMA.. O BOOT DO LINUX FOI RCUPERADO, MAS O DO WINDOWS 7 SUMIU.

(QUANDO EU REINICIEI ATE APARECEU AQUELAS COISAS TIPO O LINUX, O LINUX MODO DE RECUPERAÇÃO... MAS NADA DE WINDOWS 7, OU WINDOWS LOADER)

ASSIM COMO INDICARAM AQUI NO TÓPICO, EU USEI O COMANDO "SUDO APT-GET UPDATE" E AI SIM QUE PIOROU... sUMIU TUDO, AGORA QUANDO REINICIO JA ENTRA NO LINUX DIRETO E NÃO MOSTRA MAIS AQUELA TELA.

1 - Para o Grub, o certo seria: sudo update-grub

2 - Talvez resolva instalando o Grub-customizer (programa gráfico para configurar o grub):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install grub-customizer 

3 - Não use letras maiúsculas dessa maneira, apenas em Algumas Palavras.

não tem como não perder
o que vc pode fazer é recuperar
reinstalando depois o Grub
através de um Live CD
