Pessoal, dá uma forcinha:
Estou com problema ao atualizar alguns programas.
Quando coloco no terminal gedit /etc/apt/sources.list dá esta mensagem:
insigne:~$ su
Password:
insigne:/home/insigne# gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

(gedit:32638): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:

(gedit:32638): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_width: assertion `pixbuf != NULL' failed

(gedit:32638): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_height: assertion `pixbuf ! = NULL' failed

(gedit:32638): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_width: assertion `pixbuf != NULL' failed

(gedit:32638): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_height: assertion `pixbuf ! = NULL' failed

Mas entra no arquivo normalmente, porque isto está acontecendo ?

Olá,

Você pode resolver tal problema de 3 formas, uma simples e as outras também :)

1. Ao invés de "su", use:

$ gksu

2. Após digitar a senha de root do comando "su" e antes do comando gedit digitar:

# export DISPLAY=:0:0

3. Usar o sudo ao invés do su:

$ sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
