Ola pessoal,

Venho tentando utilizar a rede Wireless desse notebook faz um tempo porem sem sucesso.

Algum tempo atras o Drivers Adicionais chegou a mostrar um driver Broadcom para ser instalado porem sempre que eu tentava ativar o mesmo o problema continuava.

Tentei adicionar:

auto wlan0
iface waln0 inet dhcp

no arquivo /etv/network/interfaces e ainda assim, nada.

Cheguei a notar a frase Faltando Firmware ou Firmware faltando nas configurações da placa wifi.

Pessoal,

Postei agora porem acabei de conseguir resolver o problema.

Utilizar o comando:
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter firmware-b43-installer

E reiniciar o notebook.

Logo que o sistema inicia a luz do botão da placa wireless acende.
