Driver video VIA/S3G KM400A

Galera, ja tentei de tudo instalar esse bendito driver de video, mais nao funciona nem que a vaca tussa, altero o xorg.conf e nada de funcionar 1024x768, so funfa 800x600, vou colocar meu xorg.conf

esse eu apaguei e fiz o xorg.setup, mesmo o xorg.conf, adianta nada..

Coloque, abaixo do "Depth 24", esta linha:
Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

Ae depois vc pode i no kconsole e modificar a resolução q vc quiser, blz?

Olá, cara
cê quer ativar o driver da via no seu Slackware?
Vamos por partes:

1_ que driver cê tá tentando usar? pq o que vem no xorg só suporta algumas placas, dê uma olhada em via no manual, digitando:

man via (num terminal ou console)
man:/via (no konqueror)
