Sempre que instalo alguma coisa o xubuntu trava [RESOLVIDO]

Recentemente coloquei o xubuntu no meu notebook (dualboot com windows 7), instalei o chromium, primeira semana tudo certo, depois instalei o xfdashboard e daí os problemas começam... Primeiro a tecla backspace parou de funcionar, depois enter e gradualmente o teclado todo e até o mouse, removi o xfdashboard e voltou tudo ao normal. Porém, depois instalei o Nginx e o problema voltou, agora qualquer coisa que instalo dá problema, ele também está demorando cada vez mais para iniciar e só desliga no botão do próprio note.
Vale ressaltar que o windows está funcionando normalmente.

Atualize tudo: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Permita atualizar. Se retornar algum erro, poste tudo aqui.

Se não tiver erros, reinicie o sistema e depois veja se o problema persiste.

Siga: menu "Engrenagem" (no painel) > Configurações do sistema > Programas e atualizações.

Na aba: "Aplicativos Ubuntu", marque todas as Cxs, menos "Código fonte". Abaixo, em "Baixar de" mude para "Servidor principal".
Na outra aba "Outros programas", marque "Parceiros da Canonical". E desmarque os PPAs citados. Permita atualizar ao fechar.

Feito.
Até que o xubuntu funcionou "bem" ontem, deu um bug com a captura de tela mas depois funcionou "normalmente". Porém hoje o teclado só funcionou na tela de login e o mouse em canto nenhum, depois de reiniciar duas vezes e entrar no windows, voltou a funcionar mas o bug da captura de tela... ---> http://imgur.com/QYjUA7i reiniciei novamente e agora está ok, provavelmente não por muito tempo.

Provavelmente é incompatibilidade com sua placa video AMD
Eu usaria Xubuntu 14.04 LTS ou Debian 8 XFCE
