1. Adaptador TP-LINK funciona mas não conecta

O adaptador TP-LINK funciona liga a luz mas não conecta a nenhuma rede.
No Jessie já funciona basta instalar o firmware.
O problema ocorre na versão Stretch (Debian 9).
O adaptador interno do notebook funciona porém o TP-Link não funciona.

Adicione repositórios non Free
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian/ jessie main contrib non-free

Instale driver
apt-get update && apt-get install firmware-atheros

Reinicie PC

Eu tenho os firmwares do jessie num pendrive no qual testei no jessie e funcionou, mas não funcionou no stretch.
Reportei para equipe do kernel do Debian porque pelo eu vejo até em logs é problema no kernel.

Fiz instalação de um pacote do jessie para fins de teste o que é normal mas no momento não estou usando repositório errado.
Mas isto não resolveu o problema, sendo que no jessie é só instalar o firmware e se conectar numa rede. No Stretch o dispositivo é detectado com pacote do print abaixo mas não se conecta em uma rede. O que pode ser uma evidência de um bug no Kernel.
O pacote está instalado em minha máquina e informações de repositório no print http://imgur.com/a/5Mkkm
Eu tenho habilitado repositórios contrib e non-free.
A última versão do pacote firmare atheros foi citado como pacote afetado em https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=868195

OBS: Existe ele na mesma versão no Jessie porém por ser um oldstable o pacote está em backports.

O adaptador Intel interno do meu notebook está funcionando perfeitamente.
Então isso não é um motivo para mim usar Jessie sendo oldstable do Debian com suporte até 2020.

Mas os desenvolvedores infelizmente não estão dando a devida atenção para este problema o que possa fazer que o bug seja resolvido com uma demora gigantesca.

Como o clodoaldops falou esperar solução dos desenvolvedores ou usa Jessie. O Debian 9 é só problema infelizmente.
